| HOW TO START VOICE CHAT After you enter the chat room, click on 'Voice Chat' at the top of the screen. Scroll down and click on 'Show My Voice Chat Icon' and then scroll up to click on 'Start My Voice Chat Broadcast.' Right click on the user names in the user name list with whom you wish to voice chat. Scroll down to click on 'Listen to this user's voice chat broadcast.' A new screen should pop up. Click on the little box with the microphone to adjust the volume. |
| IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS ENTERING THE CHATROOM Make sure you have pop-ups enabled. The chat room itself opens BEHIND everything else on your screen. If you don't see it, minimize your other screens until you do. If you can't get the room to load, chances are you have Windows XP and have never downloaded Sun Java. To download it, go to http://www.java.com/en/download/.html or http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html and download the J2SE JRE version. Don't forget -- if you aren't taken immediately into the chat room, click 'connect' again. |
