This is an old wool carding mill which was restored about 20
years ago to its original state. There are volunteers who run the
machinery to give demonstrations. There is also a large area
for activities such as crafts shows and displays. At the right
side, there is a basement restaurant, as well as a rear deck for

This covered bridge--a replica of the original--spans the river that
provides the water to power the mill. There is a dam just beside the
bridge, where some of the water is diverted into the tunnel which
leads to turbines under the mill, which power the machinery inside.
